1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Bittensor.ai (“the Site”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree, do not use the Site. We may update these Terms at any time — continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

2. Description of Service

Bittensor.ai is a blockchain explorer and ecosystem platform for the Bittensor decentralized AI network. The Site provides:

• Browsing and searching Bittensor blockchain data (blocks, extrinsics, events, calls).
• Subnet information and statistics.
• Account and wallet lookup.
• User accounts with dashboard customization, favorite subnets, and wallet linking.
• API access for programmatic queries (subject to separate API terms).

3. Accounts

Some features require an account. When you create one, you agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete information.
• Keep your login credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity under your account.
• Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or are used for abusive purposes.

4. API Usage

Access to the Bittensor.ai API is subject to the following conditions:

• Authentication: API access requires a valid API key issued through your account.
• Rate limits: All API usage is subject to rate limits. Exceeding your plan's limits may result in throttled or blocked requests.
• Fair use: You may not use the API to build a competing blockchain explorer or to systematically scrape data for redistribution.
• No circumvention: You may not bypass rate limits, authentication, or other security measures. Accessing the backend API through means other than the Site or your issued API key is prohibited.
• Paid plans: Certain API tiers require payment. Terms specific to paid plans are provided at the time of purchase.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Site for any illegal purpose.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or other users' accounts.
• Interfere with or disrupt the Site or its infrastructure (including denial-of-service attacks).
• Scrape, crawl, or harvest data from the Site beyond what is permitted by your API plan, except via robots.txt-compliant search engine indexing.
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code from the Site.
• Impersonate another person or entity.
• Use automated tools (bots, scripts) to interact with the Site without authorization.

6. Blockchain Data

The Site displays data from the Bittensor blockchain, which is a public, decentralized network. Please understand:

• Accuracy: We make reasonable efforts to display accurate data, but blockchain data may be delayed, incomplete, or contain errors. We are not responsible for decisions made based on data shown on the Site.
• Not financial advice: Nothing on the Site constitutes financial, investment, or trading advice. Cryptocurrency and decentralized networks carry inherent risks.
• Public data: Blockchain transactions, wallet addresses, and associated data are inherently public. Displaying this data on the Site does not create any privacy obligation beyond what is described in our Privacy Policy.

7. Wallet Linking

You may link Bittensor wallet addresses to your account. By doing so:

• You certify that you own or are authorized to use the wallet.
• We store only the public address and a verification signature — never private keys.
• You may unlink a wallet at any time through your account settings.

8. Referral Program

We may offer a referral program that rewards users for inviting others. If available, specific referral terms will be provided at the time of enrollment. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the referral program at any time, and to revoke rewards obtained through fraudulent or abusive means.

9. Intellectual Property

The Site's design, code, logos, and original content are owned by Bittensor.ai LLC or its licensors. Blockchain data displayed on the Site is public and not subject to our copyright claims. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our proprietary materials without permission.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Site is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Bittensor.ai LLC and its affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, or use, arising from or related to your use of the Site. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us (if any) in the 12 months preceding the claim.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Bittensor.ai LLC, its officers, directors, and employees from any claims, losses, or damages (including legal fees) arising from your use of the Site, violation of these Terms, or infringement of any third-party rights.

13. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Site at any time, with or without cause, with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the Site ceases immediately. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including disclaimers, limitations of liability, and indemnification) shall survive.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Wyoming, United States.
